Registration for the 2026 Virginia Datathon is now closed. Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in this year's event.
Teams that completed registration will receive event details by email ahead of the virtual kickoff on October 8 and the in-person event on October 16.

Participation Requirements
The Datathon is open to all every day problem solvers. All members of a registered team must reside in Virginia. Teams can have 2-6 members. Teams are also required to attend the event in person on October 16, 2026, at The Nicholas Center at Brightpoint Community College in Chester, Virginia (13101 US-1, Chester, VA 23831). Team members who aren't present on event day will be ineligible for awards, unless there's an emergency communicated in a timely manner to the Datathon Team at odga@odga.virginia.gov.
To help keep judging fair and unbiased, teams may not use a name that identifies their school or agency, and participants should avoid wearing clothing or accessories on event day that reveal any school or agency affiliation.
